A BEAUTIFUL MORNING - LITHA - Anima Mundi Gallery

THE SUBVERSIVE LANDSCAPE at Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens Gallery curated by Hugh Mendes - EXPOSURE

‘Exposure’ is a video work which was filmed primarily at the Russian Embassy in London and the poppy fields of France. The poem of the same name written by Wilfred Owen is read by Roger Thorp’s close friend, the actor David Sibley, who once played Owen in a BBC2 Playhouse production ‘The Fatal Spring’ (New York Film and TV Festival Gold award, Nato Peace prize).

BARDO 7.08 - triptych, single channel video - a 'film painting' - collaboration with Jesse Leroy Smith @jesseleroy66
The Tibetan word bardo - "transitional state" or "liminal state".  Interpreted as a triptych, Bardo 7.08 explores a visual transition between Christianity and Buddhism.

‘Imbolc’ is the fourth in an evolving series of Anima Mundi online mixed exhibitions following this rhythm of the seasons, known as ‘the wheel of the year’.

MABON - Anima Mundi - September - October

‘The Dreamer’s Heart’ is a short film poem that has been previously exhibited as an audio work at Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome. The work is a nostalgic lamentation which evokes a quiet and subtle sense of urgency to protect what is unique and authentic, in contrast to the pervasive erosion endemic to our contemporary world.
